| Wave397, I jus had to make sure you knew what you were getting yourself into... And it helps a great deal that the guy running the program "remotely", is the one who wrote the program. Will that be you too? If you have a robot to load and unload, then you also have automated clamping and unclamping too? Sounds like a lot going on. Will you be using probeing to identify your loaded part? What about tool setting? Do you intend to set tools in process, or use pre-set tools? Best of luck,

| hey I'm starting to learn C++ and I was thinking about a program that you can enter the cordinates and tell the progam the G## and it will control your motors to the given speeds. Is this a start, is so I have a lot of If Then statements to write. LOL

Secondly, you can write a routine to move the different axis. The proper codes would be G00 (G zero zero) for max system speed movement, or G01 for movement at the programmed feedrate which is F###. These two routines should keep you busy for 6 to 12 months. Jerry |

I have a mastercam version 9 and the post I am using is for a meldas 300 control it uses trailing zeros instead of decimal. My problem is the post does not add the trailing details to the I and K of the arcs (example dec I.03 needed floating I300 ) I can not find how to change this in the post. Any help Thanks Dale |

| Does anyone know if it is possible to modify the appropriate movement code (ie G type) to influence say, the lubrication timers ? That is, is it possible to get to the code behind say, G00 ? We have Fanuc and some Seicos controllers. Thanks Teaman |
