New site upgrades

Their has been a number of request for features that are not feasible to install on the current software I'm using. To keep the site moving forward, it is necessary that i upgrade the software to the newest version. This will be a major over haul and will add may new features that should make it more user friendly.

Right now I will be setting up another server to do all my developing before I launch it live. I will be hiring a programmer to do the upgrade, to speed things along. So I will keep you all informed when I will be making the change.

Editable user profile

This information can be viewed by other members from the member list. Custom user title, URL home page, date of birth, instant messaging medium, location, occupation, biography, interests, vB version, plus any other custom user fields that may be defined by the administrator
Profile pictures

Allows members to upload pictures that can be viewed in the users' profile.
Private Messaging

Pop-up notification when new PM recieved

User Options

These include Daylight Savings options, forum style chooser, selection of notification types for PM, emails etc, thread display options, WYSIWYG editor options, language chooser, vCard downloads to allow the user profile to be placed into an address book

Paul, Great line of work you've cut out for yourself and that programmer!
Just wondering if the "Printer Friendly - on Threads" will have print single (the one viewed) page - or all pages? Else an option to save the thread as a file for offline organizing - could be as usefull - and more forrest-friendly. Thanks for all the great work! Jim

I will be adding a new Classifieds system, it will be very easy to use and will look much like the threads in the forums.
