We are now running on 2 servers

CNCzone has now upgrade for the 4th time this year, we are now running on 2 servers, so lets see how well this will work. Now we have a total of 10 CPUs running .

Paul you are doing better than me; I am only able to justify 2 new machines a year . But then I would have no space for four so it is just as well.

Maybe it is just wishfull thinking or the placebo effect but I think CNCzone loads quite a bit faster now. Two or three seconds versus 10 or 15 seconds before (or never). Just the occasional time it is a bit slower.

Main forum page has been compacted. Not good.

Actually NO, it's the same as before just all the descriptions are gone, it's a cleaner look and no need to over scroll to get to the forums you want, i think so?

    My definition still holds true.

Scrolling is easy. It is not easy to open a thread to see if there is something new or a change. Scrolling is far easier.

I agree with Gar. I preferred the old look. It was much easier to see if you wanted to go to a thread (i.e., were there new posts that I hadn't read).

I also liked the old look, much easier to navigate...
