Well I was going to bring some detailed examples of wax molds and also demo some waxing machining... but at these temperatures the wax is going to soften way too much hahaa...

Loved the last one - looking forward to this one - but!

    Hi Guys,

I have been looking forward to this bbq as I only made half of the last one.
Unfortunately with so much hot weather and living a bit in the sticks, I need to stay and hold the fort on Saturday.
Then again, this is Melbourne, we could have a sudden snow blizzard by then.

I wish you all the best for a fun and enlightening day.

    Ralph.

P.S. Due to fire restrictions you may need to consider an electric barbie or the like, but I am shure you have thought of that.

    Hi Guys

    Count me in for Saturday.

    Cheers

    Derek

BTW I reckon Ralph has a good point about the BBQ. We have supporting evidence of a potential for fire. Check out the last video in the first post of this thread. That said, Benny did an excellent job in putting the last fire out so I'm not worried. I wonder if Nigel's Alsynite carport roof will even make it through the next few days of 40+ temps?

    Wink

Count us in as well, Dad and I will be coming along. Best I stay away from the BBQ this time though.

    Cheers

If we're going to have nametags this time it might be an idea to have both real and handle names.

    Hi Guys,

For anyone who is planning on purchasing one, I'll be bringing along a few Smoothsteppers from stock for sale.

Being a cash sale you might even get a bit of a discount.

    See you on Saturday.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

    Benny,
    Looking forward to the BBQ.
Won't have a machine to show, just some pictures of bits and pieces I've collected and made.
    Regards,
    Ron

    Hi Guys,

I won't be able to make this one, the 37 degree temperature is a definite no go with my stroke. I would have really liked a gecko keyring too, have fun

It will be wonderful, Cam. I ALWAYS enjoy viewing different peoples interpretations and methods of building a CNC machine.
