I am definitely interested in buying a ticket - far easier as I will be travelling down from the country - may be two attending - what is next move here??

Would it make more sense to have an optional BBQ BYO or buy a ticket?
Rather than a heap of people bringing their own and coping with the tracking difficulties etc... buy the meat in bulk based on those signed up for a ticket.
Bring your own, or join the group and pay for the privledge? This could help cover the costs for the host (such as gas, ice for drinks etc...) and incidental items people magically expect to find available (bread, sauce, salad, plates etc...).

LOL Russell the love muscle , just make sure you bring your cnc to the BBq
cheers
yes, as indicated i'm in. All i can bring is my new z-axis.
Ok the official starting time will be 10 AM, but those who are displaying stuff can arrive at 9 AM ( Is this OK Ivan ?)
What is the address, so I can put up a map?
I will provide extra sausages, onions and bread for those who want to arrive empty handed. $2.00 each will cover the costs? I will also bring some cans of soft drink too. Maybe 2 bucks each too.
Peter Homann has told me he wants to add a MODIO and LCD to the prize pool. (Thanks Peter) The prize pool now consists of 1 mach3 license, 1 Lazy Cam license, 1 Modio, 1 lcd display, 1 cut 3d licence. More than $500 in prizes. (Thanks to all our sponsors)
I am told there will be a compilation DVD for sale on the day. I'm not sure of what it will contain, but it will be $10.00
Being outside the square !!!
Benny,
Yes, I'm happy to provide a ModIO and LCD display for the prize pool.
Since I'm doing a talk on the ModIO (and Modbus), if there are any specific issues that people would like me to discuss then let me know.
It would be great if people left feeling that they had learnt something.
At this stage I'm thinking of basing the talk around setting up and configuring Mach3 for Modbus and then using the ModIO as a pendant controller, utilizing the ModIO dll plugin.
Cheers,
Peter.
