I've booked my flights and hope to get the longest travelled award.

Happy to help out with a demo of Vcarve or Aspire if you want. I can bring laptop and examples of the demo jobs. I can also help out with Mach3 if you get stuck. Just let me know in time so that I can organise things.

Obviously can't bring machines but photos of some I have done if you want to run a slide show.

Looking forward to meeting up again and catching up with a few new faces from your side of the world. Will be a good break for me and first time in Cairns.

A little closer to the day we might talk post-processors and possibly cut out something you have done in the demo on one of the (many) machines that will be there on the day.

No worries will do a few jobs and bring them over to demonstrate the range of work Vcarve can do. I will leave those for people to take if they want. The Melbourne crowd took my samples home to show their partners they needed to make a machine.

Your previous post reminds me of the 2006 BBQ, we were both pretty sleep deprived (I got in at 3.00am that morning after a 5 hour delayed/almost canceled flight) and you introduced yourself using your full name and I remember thinking I wonder who that is...then it dawned on me ... RodM...lol !

Can you believe that this BBQ will be almost five years since then ?
