    Me too

I'll be there - do we have an address to plug into the GPS?
What do we have to bring?
    Cheers

It would be great if some one could let us know where to go so we could plan the trip. At the moment it looks I'm going to drive 4 hours to Newcastle, then drive around looking for smoke from the BBQ and sawdust from the machines.

You need a reverse lookup for mobile phones for the GPS.
It is Todd I believe Then you just need your own tracking station.

Its at Unit 3, No 12 Jura St Heatherbrae.

    Kick off about mid-day.

its off the pacific highway. I am sure everyone has a GPS so no need for directions.

BYO meat for the BBQ and anything you want to drink.

There is only one problem here...

The shed is new and I dont have any toilet facilities installed yet. There is a Maccas down the road that might have to serve as our pit-stop area. I will have somthing up and running before the next meeting if this one goes well.

This is basically a meet and greet to see who is out there. If we have interest I would like to form a club and meet on a regular basis. I would also like to spend some time going over different CNC software and hardware and have people do a quick presentation if you have knowledge in any particular area.

I could do a few demos on CAD/CAM systems and how to turn solid models into Gcode.

Hope to see you all there.

    Thanks

Hi, Thanks Todd for the big effort on Sunday. Terrific to get together with a few blokes who know what 'CNC' stands for. Learnt a few things and enthused about the next BBQ.
    Cheers
