Hi all I am building a cnc hotwire from a kit and I have a couple questions. I don't have anything to power the hot wire yet. Can someone point me in the right dirrection for what I will need to heat an 8' wire. I think I know what I need for the transformer, but I don't know what I need for the "high current" power supply that hooks to the hotwire from the transformer. Is there any special tricks to hooking up the hotwire. How do I do it like this:http://s252.photobucket.com/albums/h...t.jpg&newest=1 Thanks for reading! If you are interested I will be asking more questions and showing pics of the build here: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showth...405#post723405 |
