Fabscity is in the early stages of development and changing very quickly.

artists and designers products up and begin a large recruitment campaign to expand the published FABS library.
This listing service is free for early adopters like yourself and will remain so indefinately should our listing

Why is it free ?
Simple. One of our website's functions is to act as a clearing house for the global community to buy and sell FABS.
We make our income from a shared royalty with our published artists and designers, not unlike the buying and
selling of downloadable 3D model content that has been around for a long time online.
What exactly are fabs ?
This new type of digital content called FABS is, we believe, the first truly user friendly global CNC content and
delivery system for downloadable files to make projects using a wide variety of CNC robotic tools. This is useful
not only to CNC tool owners but also to the community at large. This allows consumers to buy a FAB file and have a
local fabber make the product for them or simply cut/fabricate the parts for them to assemble the product/project
themselves.
We also believe that fabbers like you will be able to access the content and create products for sale in your local
communities, thereby helping to bring some manufacturing back to small business at a local level. By doing this we
help to bring jobs and work back to our communities, not just in the US but also on a global collaberative basis,

Here is why I am driven to make the Fabscity project a success.
When our politicians talk about the re-education of the workforce to integrate us into the technological
internet employment era. We often think that this is only for those who have the ability to train to be competent
in complex hi-tech fields. When in reality we are really just, perhaps, being overlooked and fed a political line.
Keeping those same politicians in power, while the average Joe or Betty stands in the unemployment line looking at
the job board that reads "Wanted - Computer scientist with 30 yrs experience and 18 college degrees. Must be under
30" While this is perhaps an exaggeration, in reality it does reflect a real situation that affects many of us that
do not know how to intergrate ourselves into the new workforce.
The Fabscity project and its ability to allow almost anyone with basic computer skills to create products from home
that they can generate income from is truly the first step in achieving some of those lofty goals in a real people
everyday way.
The results will be based upon your own sustained effort and growing the skills you need to create more and more
complex and valuable FABS.
We are currently a small dedicated team ourselves with no dot-com venture capital behind us and will only succeed
