new to cnc

Hi to all and Happy New Year. I am just getting started building my first cnc machine,a JGRO router, and there is a lot of valuable info in this site that I can use. I am retired mechanical engineer and part time furniture maker and I think a cnc router would be quite useful. I am not sure if this is the right forum to post questions I have about building the JGRO, so I would appreciate knowing where do do this.
