Hello from Wisconsin. I've started to get into building some interesting projects in the last couple years. Discovered your sight and decided to join. I've been searching past topics for a couple hours now and learned a lot.
My current project is a router table/shaper. Not a CNC one but a "normal" one that the router is under the table. I got a good deal on 2 perske spindle assemblies and would like to make a "super duty" shaper for my woodshop. Still looking into if this will even work so have a lot of research to do. Would like to use a VFD since these are 12 HP 3 phase motors. My issue is how to raise and lower the whole unit since it weighs just under 200 pounds.
I'll do some more searching and then maybe post later. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Looking forward to learning as much as I can from this site.
