| Hello All, Long time reader, first time poster. Thought i would run this by the experts since i've been banging my head on the keyboard for a couple of days. I'm looking for a hopefully cheap way to reduce a stepper down 80 to 1 (or more) and mounting it to some aluminum framing. Much like the attached photos. It looks like the cheapest way to go would be using pully reducers. ... esp. after researching products like rhino's stuff (averaging around $400-500) http://www.rinomechanical.com/gearbox_miniature.htm Does anyone happen to know what this gent's piece in the photo is using? and if there is a cheaper off-the-shelf alternative here in the states? Many thanks, Jack |
