5 Axis Coordinate system

can anyone please explain the coordinate system of a 5 axis machine.
I know the basic xyz axis.

thanks for helping but I had already gone through that & there is no description about 5 axis.

Can anyone even draw the vectors in paint & post a pic so that I can understand. In a 5 axis machine I see the Y & Z axis rotate about its axis(5 axis rotary table) & also reciprocate (router or the 3 axis guide ways)

Please correct me if I am wrong.

307startup is on a distinguished road

Operating under the Cartesian coordinate system, axis systems beyond the 3 primary linear axes are considered rotation elements. A, B, C...etc.

An A-axis would be a rotational axis along the X axis centerline.
A B-axis would be a rotational axis along the Y axis centerline.
A C-axis would be a rotational axis along the Z axis centerline.

your part reference is from the center of rotation of each rotating axis

once you start to understand 5 axis it will become very easy

don't let it overwhelm you
