Hi. Im new to CNC. I plan on building one over the christmas break. It will probably be the first cnc the guy developed and is selling plans for on this site. http://buildyourcnc.com/default.aspx I will be using for wood machining, engraving, pcb, predominantly. I would however like to use it map the magnetic field of a magnetic. This has been done before using a hall effect sensor. My question is how would you do this software wise. Basically i will put the sensor we the router normally is. Set it to zero position and have the router sample then move, sample then move etc. Has anyone got any ideas of how i would do this software and hardware wise. Cheers Damian |
