Hi all, signed up today and the message popped up suggesting I post an introductory message here in the clubhouse.

My names not Joe BTW, I am looking into building the Joes 4x4. It looks to be in my range and I believe it will exceed my needs making it very flexible.

Primarily I am wanting a cnc setup for carving MDF and wax patterns for metal casting. To this end the Joes 2006 would more than suffice. Going through the build and cost though it just seems the 4x4 will allow for many more projects in the future such as cabinets and furniture not to mention the extra space for setting up multiples for an extended unattended run.

Still trying to get a handle on what the cost will be to make sure it will be in my budget but even if it runs over and I can get the big $ parts collected up with my initial cash on hand I can flush it out over the coming months a little at a time.
