does anyone know a source for stock carbon filled ptfe(teflon) rings?
I am flexable in size - around 2 inches or more.... Looking for the 500Deg F working temp. (used a lot in oilless air compressors)

PTFE seals are used extensively in automotive and truck power steering units. The TRW made units have graphite/ptfe seals and most others have glass/ptfe seals.
Find a local power steering rebuilder and they should be able to help you out with something fairly inexpensively.

what about a source for strait carbon rings? I see that some air compressors use them - but for the life of me cannot find a source. (rings and riders)
