Charlottesville Virginia prototyping | |
I'm posting for my son who lives in Charlottesville. We are looking for a person in the Charlottesville area who would be able to help us with some prototyping. The person would need to have a CNC milling machine, and some kind of lathe. He would have to operate as a private contractor rather than an employee.. The work would be collaborative to some extent but we would be doing most of the designing. An amateur machinist or retired person might be a good fit for this situation. We certainly don't have anything like full-time work.
My son has a well-equipped shop, but he does not have the time to do all the prototyping we would like to do. We make high-end photographic equipment for nature photographers. We do our own design work and our stuff is made in this country.
This would be a nice opportunity to do some interesting prototyping. We really are looking for someone local so that we can have face-to-face collaboration.
