Hi, Finally joined the forum being an avid reader for over a year plus now  I'm an absolute newbie currently looking at getting my 1st rig and look forward to contributing as much as i can (once the experience builds!) On the cards are the X3 - CNC converted, the Sherline 2010M or sherline lathe with Z axis upgrade, or a basic MF70 -CNC from usovo.de to get my hands dirty with g-code first before deciding which bigger mill to get. I'm really looking at engraving (for some income to fund tools) and small prototyping at this stage, but i'm sure once the machine is rolling and the bits are collected - i'll be trying to make anything under the sun wish me luck!
