Just IN- From Malaysia ... Hi to CNC Community

Hi all...
I'm from Malaysia. Very interested to built mechanical+servo+electronic+computer machine.

This is very interesting forum that i found fot guiding and inspiring me to built the above machine..

Any Malaysian here....?? I need help to find the materials that i need to buil CNC Router machine..

I am frequently in Langkawai (but now in US -- may get back this year --- maybe in several). Another member is in JB [he wrote some hot wire foam cutting software] and still several others in Singapore, Indo and Brunei, and a few in Thailand too.
A good source of parts might be in Butterworth - or Pinang -- I haven't done any looking there - but for other Industrial stuff -- seems like a good bet.
There is a good shop in Singapore -- very good lots of surplus bits- -maybe an overnite bus trip when you can fit it in.

Look like ur traveling around the globe...

Penang and Butterworth are the corrects places for mechanical things, the problem with this place is price... different person you will get different price.. headache.. better to have friend that know which good supplier..
