Anybody know of any projects out there that I can look at that are digital stops, like the ones you would put on a chopsaw? Basically, one that you would input a desired length to be cut, and the stop automatically positions itself to the position necessary to cut to that length. I'd like to make one that is an all-in-one unit that doesn't even need a pc to operate. All that it needs is a keypad, a few control/stop/calibrate buttons and an LED digital readout.    |
