I resently purchased a used Multicam MG Series router table. The table looks to be in great shape. however, i am have some problems when powering up.. The pendent seems to be working improperly... the shut off switch is working properly and the spindle switch works as well. But the display reads "MULTICAM KDM V3.02" and it will not allow me to home it, the buttons are non active. When under power everything seems to power up but the axis motors won't run and the spindle will not run. I have read post by dasiydog with a simular problem. |

| To home a MG series after power on, press shift key (up arrow on right side of keypad) followed by home key (green key showing right angle with 2 zeroes) machine should move to home position. Last edited by SCRAPWOTSCRAP; 07-09-2009 at 11:02 AM. Reason: apparently forgot my left from my right |

| I had an MG series give me some similar problems awhile back, eventially it was determined that the keypad (pendant) was bad . Be advised I'm no expert on Multicam machines, but have some experience with them. Best to check the obvious first before getting out your wallet. Have you talked to anybody at Multicam service for your area? |

| A couple things come to mind. If this has a tool changer, make sure the 10amp breaker in the cabinet has not tripped. You also must enable the drives with the pendant rotary switch before it can be homed. At least that was the way our MG pendant was. The manual should walk you through the startup procedure. DC
