| I'm in the process of starting my own little custom machine shop. I'm going thru the small business administration now. My question to you is this- I'm looking for a basic CNC lathe and a CNC milling center with tool changer. I'm used to running coversational machines but G-code shouldn't be a problem. There are a ton of CNC companies out there and I've only operated a few.Are there any to stay away from or any that are awsome??Thanks for any info |

Mori Ikegai Nakamura-Tome Dainichi Methods Matsuura Enshu Hitachi Tsugami OKK Brother Mikino Ok Machines HAAS Mazak Hardinge Bridgeport The first questions you have to ask yourself are, what type of custom parts are you machining, what Alloys, and at what Accuracies?? These are the common questions that will help you choose a Machine Tool. Also, try to keep the same machines and controls to avoid any major differences in the programming and maintenance.
