Wondering if anyone if farmiliar with the US Trademark website? I'm trying to file "allegation of use" to finalize my trademark application, post approval. I get through declaring allegation of use, fill in all the information, click the "submit and pay" and I get a screen that says something about the websites certificate is expired? It's an IE page, not from the internet, gives me the option to "visit this page - not reccomended", I click on it and it takes me back to the fist page of the application? This is the second night that I tried completing the application... I even turned off security, firewalls, and accept all cookies from all websites... Am I trying to fill out the wrong app, or should I just try from another computer? My laptop uses FireFox instead of IE, maybe that would work? I'm worried they are going to lock me out because the suspect problems/fraud/hacking? Any advice appreciated. MC |

It certainly sounds like this problem is browser based ... a setting or something. I have experienced sites that would not load in one browser but work fine in another. Or if the browser version is a little old and the site has been updated for the latest version. We have used the trademark website before ... but usually with Firefox which is our standard browser. My suggestion would be to give it a try once more in Firefox. I would doubt that there is any issue on there end ... when you submit the form it probably never makes it through because the browser isn't letting it. Good luck .. I made the original filing online, but I did it from my fathers computer though too. Maybe I should go back to his house before I get locked out for trying too many times...? |

Yes, it is possible that it has set a cookie or in someway recognizes the original computer for security purposes.
