Im going back to school to get a 2year mechanical Engineering degree so that I can try to get into the manufacturing engineering department at my company. Thanks aaron

| Get a 4 year full ME degree and the starting salary would be about $56k US (according to the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel last June). That is if you can find a job. My last W-2 was $86k with all o'time & bonuses etc. including special project work while functioning as a "mfg.eng." That was in 1995 with 40 years in the machining swamp. I'm now "retired" (retreaded) and still doing consulting/project work when I feel like it for people I like. I am now a professional Curmudgeon and old fart. Now, it's fun!!!! LOL Dick Z

| I dont have time to go to school full time for 4 years. With a 2 year and my experience in machining, they said I will be able to get up into the office. Im starting a small side business also.
