Are any of you aware of available software that would allow me to scan or create drawings, save them to GXF file and also manipulate or change the GXF file? I have a guy cut pieces for me on his CNC and I need to spend time getting the image right before I start using his time to modify my images. Thanks, Jim (from Minnesota)    |

GXF - Grid Exchange Format I only know that because I looked it up. GXF as I understand is one of the file formats that cnc software can read to cut out a pattern. |

Welcome to CNC Zone  ger21 is our "resident CAD" ex spurt  so if he can't help with the GXF question I guess there is no such thing.I believe you want a CAD program to work with DXF files. (not G) Do a web search for "progeCAD" which is available as a free (charity donation requested) in several versions. |
