Hi, I am new to the world of CNC. I have so much to learn that it is beyond description. I am looking at making the CNC mod to my Grizzly X2 mini mill. I am currently researching the components. I have MANY questions that I will be asking in the not to distant future. Enough on that, now a little about me. I am retired from a large mid-wetern electric utility that provides electric power to northern Illinois and Crook County. I dabble in photography, flying (sold my Skyhawk a couple of years ago), model building, some gun smithing (1911 pistols and Garand rifles) and now I am getting interested in CNC. I worked in electronics for my career which included repair of generating station instrumentation, plant process computers and finally the company telephone system. I had a nice career that lasted almost 35 years. My education was DeVry Tech, back when the ONLY campus was on Belmont in Chicago. I am a life long Sox, Bears, Blackhawk fan. I am looking forward to learning a lot from this forum. RWW |

RWW, Welcome to the fun world of CNC. Working in the field sometimes isn't fun, but no matter what the feeling of accomplishment never goes away. Check out my "Projects" section on my site and scroll down to "Current Project at Work" you will see what I mean; How FUN!! http://www.cncbasics.com Mike in MN
