Hello everybody, this is my first post for the CNC ZONE. I have been visiting this web site in and out for many years: since there were very few members, it is amazing how this place has grown.
I am a cnc machinist and always tought about building my own machine and I think this is the rigth place to fulfill my dream. I am also interested in cam programing and for that end I recently bougth BobCad-Cam v21. I tried to watch the training cds but it going to take to much time,so I tried the "getting Started Manual" and is working great. I guess I'll be alternating cds and the manual to avoid being bored. The informaton in the cds is overwellming but it is necessary to watch them if one want to learn this program "in depth". Mastercam was my first choice since is the leader in the market, but I am a realistic person ( too expensive).
I'll let you guys know about my progress in case I can help somebody.
