A preacher went to visit an old man in hopes of getting him to church. They sat down for several minutes talking and the old man said, preacher excuse me for a minute while I put my false teeth in so it will be easier for me to talk. The old man returned a few minutes later and sat down to visit with the preacher. The preacher interrupted the old man, slightly red in the face from embarrassment apologizing that while the old man was away he noticed a bowl of unsalted nuts on the table and they looked so good that he got carried away and nearly ate the whole bowl, the old man replied saying, that’s ok young fellow I just like to suck the chocolate off them anyway.    |
