Thats it. I'm just saying hello to everyone. Never been a part of any forum.
My company recently downsized and our programmer/supervisor was let go.
Now, in addition to running the machines, I'm trying to program on Virtual Gibbs V.4.26. From what I've read on these discussion boards thats a very old version, but the company is not going to spring for anything else right now.
I'm familiar with programming in general and I can write a program by hand, but it takes forever and I don't have that kind of time.
I've been using Gibbs for only a couple of days...I made my Geometry,picked my tool,created a process, and made it into an Op(after many tries I finally got it to machine the part the way I wanted), BUT! I cant make it write out the g-code(posting right?)
Anyone...Anywhere...Have any advice |
