Just writing to say Hi to everyone. Metal working is a hobby of mine that started with blacksmithing, which lead to machining then to O/A gas then Tig welding and plasma cutting. I'm retired so cost is a factor when looking at equipment and I like puzzling my way through problems. I've found classes that have helped with information and access to equipment. I'm happy to have found this site. I'd love to have a CNC plasma cutter but needless to say what I've seen of prices is beyond my budget. So if I want one it's going to have to be DIY. I haven't found a class, yet, on CNC so I'm looking to this site to be a place I can find information and resources and where I can share what little information I have that might be of help.
