Hi all. Long time manual machinist, former screw machinist. Now learning CNC. Recently started night school and enjoying it very much so far. I have a decent 9x42 variable speed Bridgeport in my home shop, and am thinking about converting it to CNC. Perhaps a used take off from someone upgrading to 3 axis. I'd need the ball screws and everything, as my setup has just scales for the DRO. Would also need some instructions, as I'm pretty handy building things I've seen, but not capable of original thought.
Any thoughts on which of the forums would be good to watch for people discussing/selling retrofits? |
