HI ! New to the group

Hi All, My name is Russ, My company can bee seen @

    http://www.traildesigns.com/

I am a mechanical engineer with 15+ years of 3D CAD,
Last 8 or so years on ProE.

    Amazing group...SOOO much to learn.

A couple of years back I started a company with my brother and
a friend. We design and manufacture items related to Ultralight
backpacking. Lots of special tool have been made to date. It
is clearly time for us to take the plunge and go to an CNC based solution
for one of our products. To that end we are building a router for cutting
parts from very thin (.008") Aluminum. We are scratch building
the machine. My brother and I are fabricating the machine as a team.
I've made the frame and vacuum system, he is building the guides and
    drives and such.

I am looking to CNC zone for information on CAD and CAM.

I'm sure I'll be firing questions out as I dig into this more.

    Russ
