Hi guys, I'm a true newbie here from the sunny island call Singapore. I see a lot of you guys have some form of certification and experience in machining. So new to this, in fact, I've never seen a CNC machine in real life. hehehe... Anyway, I am looking to build a small CNC machine that will be about 1 feet by 1 feet in footprint, as I don't have place to store it. I've search through this forum and found this video: I love it! So I'm targeting to start off with something simple like a kit from http://www.hobbycnc.com/ or This ebay item here Looking forward to spend more time reading up the information here! Thanks in advance for the help I know I'm going to get here. regards, koo |

| Hi: I built one of those made out of pipe fittings and was surprised at how well it worked. I used some little motors I had, they were probably in the 50 0r 60 in/oz class. I took it to a craft show and got $150.00 out of it. Enough for food for a few weeks. budP |

| Rear Wheels - koo! Welcome aboard! If you are looking for parts in Singapore - I'm sure you've thought about Sim Lim Tower? Top floor is/was a neat - well quite cluttered - shop with all sorts of gear to build your cnc. So if you haven't placed you order yet - it might be worth a stop down to the shop. BTW I'll be passing through Singapore in a few days (enroute to Malaysia) - drop me a PM if you'd like to get together. Jim
