At the local community college, we have classes for sewing and woodworking. You basically have an instructor, there's limited involvement, mostly to help if you have a question. But they basically have a full shop with all kinds of woodworking tools, and you bring your own lumber and build your project. I'm looking for this same thing, but for metal working. I can find class and what not in other states, but nothing in Phoenix. Anyone know of anything like this in AZ? There's a couple things I'd like to make, and learn while I'm at it. Maybe I could even just rent hours from a local machine shop. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated. |
