Greetings, I have a new TRAK DPM5 that I'm trying to get to know. I have machinist background mostly in extrusion and blow mold via the old manual laths and mills. This thing is a whole new game for me! Makes me feel like a dinosaur. So, what I'm here to find besides lurking is some "fun" type projects, either in art, interesting and recognizable parts of just something unique in existing programs that I can run through the mill and assist me in learning, and just possible inspire a Christmas project or two... The TRAK DPM5 runs programs ending with *.PT4 which I don't seem to be able to find doing a search on this site. Is this a common language or something indigenous to this mill manufacture? Do other programs run through this thing as well? The control is labeled PROTO TRAK SMX. Thanks in advance. Gos |
