| are you writing code by hand? CNC simulators are like watching paint dry, just my opinion. Most CAM programs will display the tool paths, and a careful inspection will keep you out of trouble. |

| My intentions are to draw componets in autocad then save them to a dxf format and hopefully use that format to obtain a cnc program. The cnc simulator is to verify its movements and correct operation. Are there cad/cam packages available free online that can do this? Thanks for your thoughts on the subject. kind regards francis19630 |
