I was thinking that it'd be possible to build your own rapid prototyping printer by attaching something like a hot glue gun to a CNC and controlling the on/off glue with an M function. Better yet, you could use weld and build it out of metal! However, I'm not sure how you control the hardening/splatter/cooling process. |
