Hello all, I have been producing my own production parts for a while now on a small manual lathe, but business is getting busy and I either need to upgrade my equipment or have someone else make my parts. I have a few questions. Is there a reasonable option for a small CNC lathe that will easily handle 2" aluminum stock? How much should I be prepared to pay to have 2" by 4" parts with a .5" through hole machined, 6061 stock? There are a few more minor machining steps to these parts with a couple of threaded holes. I understand that these questions are very vague, so I can add information if it is necessary, but I'm just trying to get a general idea. Thanks for the help. Blane |
