208oz vs 277oz Motors for CNC

Hi i am buying a CNC router, and I have a option to upgrade form a 208oz motor to a 277oz motor for +$50. I just want to know what is the diffrence from upgrading to a bigger motor?

I am mainly cutting plastics such as plexiglass and PVC.

What are you planning to do with it? The questions I would have would be the leadscrews and linear rails, both of which seem homemade on this machine. I would look a little harder, maybe a K2 or fireball v90. If you are planning on using a dremel get a proxxon instead you will me much happier with it.

$50 seems cheap for more power and speed. Plexi can be tricky to cut without melting. more power gives you more flexibility on speeds and feeds.

Can you recommend me a good dremel to use? I looked at the paxxons but I really dont see which model to buy in particular, any suggestions? How does the dremel 395 look?
