I have recently downloaded some drawings for a cnc router, but I'm at a loss as to how to actually "control" the stepper motors. I was planning to use a pc as a controller, but I need to know what I actually need as far as hardware, to connect and control the motors to the pc. I have seen ads for pc based cnc controller software. My problem is, that I don't actually know anything about motors, and the electronics involved with controlling them. Can anyone provide me with some insight? |
