MasterCam to Bandit Controller?

Hello, I have a Series 2 Bridgeport CNC Mill (not a retrofit) With a Bandit controller on it. I have been using a old version of Bobcad on it for several years and want to upgrade to Mastercam since I learned how to use it I dont know how I lasted this long without it!
My problem is, when we try to send a program from the PC using Mastercam to the Bandit the controller I get an error and will not comunicate with Mastercam. We tried a lot of things and it still would not accept a program even after we dummed it way down to a very simple program. Is there something we are not doing correctly or will it just not work? I am open to suggestions and questions.

I`m not sure if this question belongs here or in the Bridgeport forum, but I think this is a good place to start?

Did you check the comm settings?

I presume you had this working on a comm cable with Bobcad?

I used the exact same setings as my bobcam settings and also messed with a bunch of other baud rate settings.
