Is there any lag in it?
I tried using the old internet phone stuff along time ago but the lag, even between two cable modems, made it unuseable. I mean, a 2 second lag doesn't sound like much but it is hard to talk that way.

Nope, not noticeable. I have a tiny lag between Sweden and California, but it's so small so you don't care about it. I think my "old fashioned" phone has more lag.

Well, it's a freeware so try it!

Just assuming here, but it must be a program to transfer audio only from PC to PC?

Anyone ever used CUseeME? It's actually CUWorld (cuworld.com) now. It works pretty good. Very little lag even with transfering video at 30fps (broadband of course). If anyone is interested, I have some codes that will give you a week of their middle of the line subscription for free.

Well, why don't you go to the Skype homepage and check it out?..
It's an IP-telephony application and not only a PC2PC sound hack, you can call ordinary phones too, make conference calls, transfer files to the other person etc.
It's free and I talk to friends and family all over the world with no phone bill.
