HI my name is Jesse I live in michigan south east to be exact I am going to school to get my associates degree in CNC machining I'm almost done we use HAAS machines at school I hear good and bad about them but so far they have worked great for me so uhh HI

thanks, any of you guys use a mini mill or lathe of some kind? I'm lookin at buyin one in the near future

I work in a shop of 20+ Haas CNC's and I sit in front of 1 mini mill 1 super mini and have used SL10's all are good. I'm a big fan of the Super minis with extended Z travel and a rotary table. What are you more looking at a mill or lathe?

oh I meant like a harbor freight type bench top one nothing fancy I dunno mill or lathe guess I'll have to see if most of the parts I want to make are round or flat lol

O sorry I miss read your post. Yeah that is the first thing you need to think of is what you are going to be making. You can always get the other machine latter

yeah I also need to find a job very very soon lot of places are hiring but every one wants like 5 years experience and there is like zilch for someone like me just starting out
