Exclamation new and need advise and help

Hello everybody I've been browsing this site and sign up for about seven months now. I am really intrerested on machinery and robotics but do'nt have enough time to build one because of vbusy schedule (military). in December i finally started building a mill and cnc router, it was opain due to lack of materials but manage to find places here in Japan where they sell Linear bearings. So to make the story short the machine is up and running the problem is setting the work or my machine coordinate using MAch 3. Any pointers on how to get this dione. I besically eyeball the center of my work every time i run my machine. Thanks.

Welcome. You need to post a pic of that machine of yours.
If you are just wanting to find the exact center of your material just use an edge finder and do a little math. If you don't have one just any old tool will work just flip it around and use the shaft as your edge finder.
