| i started at a new shop, and they let me play w/ an older (1988)okk verticalw/ a random tool changer.i had no idea about tool registration for this,an d while trying to test the machine, called a toolchange.the magazine pocket dropped down into t-c position and generated an error.now it's stuck. i can't get it to reset to home position. i thought about hot-wiring it,but would rather fix the thing correctly rather than break something else any ideas? |

| Do you have the operator manual? Most machines with TC's have the M codes for the independent MDI moves, in order to get it back in cycle. Al.

i have a machine manual and a hardware"guide" but no programming manual. i found the error code (1031)in the hardware book, not the machine manual. it gave me the error code and what i believe is the source, probably the position-sensor (or limit switch) but no way to interface w/ it. any way to find manuals anywhere? |

| Your best chance is to get hold of the operator M codes, hopefully someone here may have the same machine, if it appears that the operation did not see the limit and it went into alarm, the only way to reset maybe is to use an M code, I don't think even if you trip the limit at this point it will continue, depends how the Ladder/PMC was written. | hi i don't know if i understand correctly , but i worked on a okk 800 and i got some problem with the tool change . befor to use this code make sur there are no tool in the arm . you can use a hammer or screw driver to remove the tool. go in mdi and use thos code :m86 tool pot magazine side , m87 tool pot head side , m88 magazine one step rotation ( this one is no use in the sequence but i give it to you) m90 atc arm 70 dgre cw , m91 atc grip close , m92 atc arm pull stud released , m93 atc arm going down , m94 atc arm 180 dgre ccw , m95 atc arm going up , m96 atc pull stud closed , m97 atc arm grip open , m98 atc arm 70 dgre ccw , m99 atc arm 180 dgre cw . if you are not able with those codes , try with solenoid valve on the left side of the machine there is a pannel with all the instruction . be carefull no tool in atc arm , because if you push the solenoid valve for the 180 dgre the tool will be throw away , i call it atl :automatic tool launcher. hope this information will helps you . forgive me my english its not my first language. best regard jean |
