Thumbs down My pet Internet peeve

OK, a few quick question as to why people that fill out on-line order forms using all lowercase.

1) They don't know where the shift key is?
2) Just plain laziness and willing to admit it?
3) Don't know what a capitol letter is?
4) They know how annoying it is and just enjoy the thrill of the annoyance?
5) They think it is cool?
6) They are a genius and just want to look stupid for their non-genius friends?
7) All the above?

Please exchange the "They" for "You" if the shoe fits !

If criticism annoys you then my work is done

Ken

i agree that is pretty annoying. i assume you process these forms for your business. can you change the web forms to capitalize first letters as necessary before processing. most stuff I put on forms is usually made up if it is for some kind of registration.

x2 Jimbo. Make your forms either reject or fix formatting. Case closed.

On the other hand MY PET is those that think that everything should be written
IN CAPITAL LETTERS AND IGNORE LOWER CASE ENTIRELY!

I find this lazyness particulary amongst data entry people and some draftsman. The first thing they do is hit the caps lock key and type away

It does not matter sendkeys, I was sitting here bored out of my mind this afternoon and was hoping to stir up a little emotion for some excitement, gees, no one even wants to argue anymore

I understand now High Seas, they are just soft spoken.

There is a Bible quote where Jesus says " Be careful about trying to remove the splinter from your brothers eye, when there is a LOG in your own".

There go Ken, is that argumentative enough for you?

EDIT: Hey Ken if you wanted something to do, you could always make a post in the FAQ section.

Benny,
I first did cast the beam out of my own eye, then I was able to see clearly thine log in my brothers eye.

EDIT: Hey Ken if you wanted something to do, you could always make a post in the FAQ section.

I will tell you Benny, I have yet to be able to find that FAQ forum since your first post.
