I make a special cabinet for hospital emergency rooms. Been doing it off and on for over ten years. With the acquisition of CNC I've been able to improve it tremendously. So I want to get more serious with marketing it. I need some really good decals to replace the homemade looking (because they are) labels that I've been printing and attaching with transparent film. Anyone got any ideas? Would love to find something I could do with my printer to produce a professional looking decal (preferably peel and stick).

Check the hobby section of the "Marts (K/Wall) or local hobby shop. Testors makes a mini kit that might be something you can experiment with at a less than $Call cost. They are designed for model application - but will give an idea of the process etc. Still a wet and slide Decal - not sticky back sticker. Comes with a spray on fixitive.

Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.

They sell Scotcmark white or silver A4 plastic self-adhesive sheets for AUD $3.08 or AUD $2.62 if you buy more than 25 sheets.
You put it through a laser printer and protect the finish with CRC Plasticote (Cat No SC1175) AUD$10.45
I have used it and it looks and works great. If you have access to a colour laser printer all the better.
