    education programs

    The community college program nearby has a multimedia drafting program, which includes classes on autoCad, Solidworks, Studio 3ds max, and CAD/CAM. I know these aren't manual machining classes, but are they at all valuable to learning to operate and program CNC machines?

    YEA, I am no programer, but i do know that cad is ca design and cam is ca machining. most of what i know about programing is from cad and machining you just learn. any edu will help. good luck
