A 73-year-old Vietnamese man is trying to enter the record books for the longest hair in the world.

Tran Van Hay claims he has not had a trim in three decades.


This has left him with hair that has now reached 6.2 metres - almost 20ft.

Mr Tran's wife said her husband's hair was so heavy, it had not been washed for years.

He normally wears his hair coiled up, but can stretch it out so it can be measured.
