If you don't really need to cut anything, download Mach3 and install it. It's machine control software, and you can run g-code programs on it without actually having a machine, if all you want to do is learn.

Hellow to every one out there I am trying to see what is the cheapest way to build a mini cnc mill or if there is a place that sells them pretty cheap all I want to do with it is just practice on learning how all the g codes work and just how to do simple programs. or is there a place that sells them used.

The software I mentioned displays the toolpaths on the screen, so you can see what the machine would be doing.
